Trail Defense Differential covers. Our covers are designed from the ground up with abuse in mind. We started with a nodular iron cover and then used ribs to add strength. To add rigidity to your axle housing and eliminate the possibility of peeling the cover off and losing all of your fluids we designed the flange area to be 5/8" thick and recessed all the stainless steel hardware into the flange so the bolts could not be damaged. The fill hole was raised to increase oil capacity and then plugged with a stainless steel fill plug. We intentionally did not design in a drain plug due to fact that if you do not have to remove your cover for inspection during a fluid change you will never inspect inside the housing. So to ease your oil changes and maintenance we supply the covers with a premium "Lube Locker" gasket. You will never have to wipe up drips from paper gaskets or peel and scrape RTV again. Our covers come standard with gloss black UV stable powder coating to reduce fading and may be custom ordered in different colors or painted over to match your rig.
