NEW BLACK DLC COATING!

These new style U-Joints are black in color as opposed to the gold Titanium-Nitride coatings that have been used in the past. The Manufacturer has switched to the new DLC or "Diamond Like Coating", on all of the High Performance U-Joints. This coating is not a simple cosmetic coating like some of the competitors use. DLC coating not only provides a lower friction surface for the caps, but also allows for the 4340 Chrome-Moly steel to retain higher hardness for added strength and wear resistance.
